Members of the Fuellers joined the Master, Elena Oderstone and the Bishop of London Dame Sarah Mullally DBE for Fuellers Sunday at St Andrew by the Wardrobe, London EC4V 5DE, which is the first Grade I listed church in the whole of London to go fully carbon neutral following extensive renovations. Evening song was led by the Ven Luke Miller, Archdeacon of London and music was provided by Sarum Impromptu led by Michael Keeley, who sings regularly with the choir of St Paul's Cathedral. The event was preceded by celebratory afternoon tea at Lost Property Hotel, near St Pauls Cathedral and followed by a panel discussion on the 'Square Mile Churches: Towards a Sustainable Future'. |
CONVERSATION ON SUSTAINABILITY This took the form of a panel discussion and was followed by a Q&A session. The theme was 'Square Mile Churches: Towards a Sustainable Future' which included theology of environmentalism, Net Zero ambition for the whole of the Square Mile, green spaces within the City including Gardens and former churchyards, and plastic waste reduction.
