The next meeting of the APPG Energy Costs will be on Wednesday March 22nd at 6pm. Mike Hemsley of the Committee on Climate Change will present the Committee’s latest analysis on the impact of climate change policy on bills for residential, business and industrial users in the UK. This will cover historical trends in energy prices and bills, and the forecast impact of meeting the CCC’s 5th Carbon Budget scenarios on consumer energy bills to 2030. This new work will not be published until March 16 so this will be an excellent early opportunity to hear from, and put questions to, the Committee.
