Visit to RAF Mildenhall 100th Air Refueling Wing USAF

Captain Whiteley of 100th Air Refueling Wing USAF looks after the KC135 Air to Air Refueling Stratotankers. He has kindly invited fifteen Fuellers for a private tour of their base & the USAF's very first Jet Air to Air refueling Tanker the KC135. We will be brought up to date on the Air Tankers plus their Operations & in particular the Boom refueling method together with Chobham 32B Hose & Basket refueling pods.

The day will start at the car park of Aspal Close Nature Reserve car park - please note that parking is limited so try to car share if possible

TIMINGS & VISIT PROGRAMME
1000 Arrive promptly at Aspal Close Nature Reserve car park postcode - IP28 8AA
1015 Depart in Hire Coach from church lay-by for RAF Mildenhall
1030 Base Tour starts
1300 Lunch at the USAF Mall
1600 Visit ends & return to cars by Coach

SECURITY
This is a working military site and the USAF require personal information to be submitted a minimum of FOUR WEEKS before the visit in order to clear individuals.
On the day of the visit you must bring your VALID IN-DATE UK PASSPORT in order to gain entrance. No exceptions will be possible.

DRESS
Smart casual. A warm coat is advised.

COST
There is a non-refundable cost of £28 per person, which is to hire the coach.
