Carrie Marsh is installed as the 37th Master of the Worshipful Company of Fuellers; Monday 11th October 2021.
Only a year overdue, but what a joy to attend the Installation Court of our new Master, Carrie Marsh and in such grand setting of the Fishmonger’s Court Room. Surrounded by the gilded Coats of Arms of Past Prime Wardens an apt location for our then Master, HRH The Earl of Wessex, to conduct the relaxed ceremonial with the Court up and down as we welcomed new Freemen and Liverymen before he handed over the trappings of power to our 37th Master in the presence of many of the Company as well as her friends and family. Then to the champagne reception in the Court Drawing Room before a magnificent Dinner in the splendour of the Banqueting Hall. Wonderful fare accompanied by fine wines ensured lively discourse by those present ending with appropriate speeches from the Principal Guest, Alderman & Professor Michael Mainelli and, of course, our Master! A stirrup cup to conclude before wending our way home – nearly back to normal!
